Data-driven decisions lead to better outcomes than decisions based on assumptions. To support this, it’s important to understand how your offers are performing on your live store. Performance data helps you decide whether to continue with an existing offer, modify it, or create a new one.
The Analytics in the app provides clear performance insights and comparison data, allowing you to evaluate which offers are performing well and which products are generating more conversions through offers created in the app. These insights help you plan and optimize your discount strategies more effectively.
Insights
On the Offers dashboard, Insights can be found which provides a high-level overview of offer performance on your store in the offers dashboard of the app. It includes the following details:
- Offer usage count - Shows how many times customers have purchased the offers.
- Converted orders - Shows the number of orders that were successfully converted through offers created using the app.
- Active offers - Shows the total number of active offers currently available on your store.

The date range for Offer usage count and Converted orders is fixed to the last 30 days and cannot be changed on the offers dashboard. These insights cannot be filtered by offer type or offer category.
For more control over the insights, you can go to the “Detailed insights” dashboard i.e Analytics.

Analytics
The Analytics Dashboard helps you track and understand how your Dealeasy offers are performing in your Shopify store. Whether you're running a single promotion or multiple offer types simultaneously, our dashboard provides clear insights into your offer's effectiveness.
Performance over time
This section provides a consolidated view of how your discount and other offers that were created in the app are performing over date. It helps you measure:
- Customer engagement with your offers
- Revenue generated through discounts
- Total discount cost
- Overall conversion impact

The Performance over time displays four primary metrics:
- Offer usage count
- Indicates how attractive and effective your offers are by measuring how frequently they are availed.
- Higher numbers reflect strong customer engagement and resonance.
- A declining trend suggests the need to reassess or restructure the offer strategy.
- Converted orders
- Shows how many orders were directly influenced by Dealeasy offers.
- Helps measure actual transaction impact.
- Conversion value
- The total revenue generated from orders that used discounts created through the app.
- Sum of order values where the app discount was applied or where the offer created in the app was used.
- Helps to determine the gross revenue influenced by your offers and evaluate ROI by comparing it with Discounts given.
This does not include Cart goal discounts. Including total order values where a cart goal discount is applied would result in overlapping calculations and artificially inflate the reported conversion value.
- Discount given
- The total monetary value of discounts applied through the app.
- Helps to determine total cost of the promotional strategies and calculate profitability.
This does not include the value generated from Bundles and Recommendations availed by customers, as these do not fall under the discount category.
How to evaluate performance:
- You can roughly estimate impact by comparing: Conversion value vs Discount given
- If Conversion value significantly exceeds Discount given, your campaign is generating positive revenue leverage.
Order distribution
This section compares orders influenced by the app against other store orders. It helps you understand:
- What percentage of your total store orders are driven by the app
- The relative contribution of the app to overall store performance
- How dependent is your revenue on promotional strategies
Visual Comparison Bar
A horizontal distribution bar visually representing the proportion of total store orders for the selected filters.

Dealeasy-influenced orders
Orders that originated through or were influenced by any offer, widget, or promotional mechanism created in the app.
This includes:
- Discount-based offers
- Product recommendations
- Mix & match bundles
- Free gift offers
- BOGO
- Shipping incentives
- Any other app-driven conversion mechanism
An order does not need to include a discount to be counted as app-influenced.
Other store orders
Orders placed in your Shopify store that were not influenced by the app.
These include:
- Organic purchases
- Direct traffic purchases
- Orders driven by other marketing channels
- Manual checkout orders without app interaction
Numerical Breakdown

The section displays:
- Total Dealeasy-influenced orders
- Total Other store orders
- Percentage of total store orders influenced by the app
Example:
- Dealeasy-influenced orders: 60
- Other Store Orders: 7
App Influence: 89% of total store orders (60 Dealeasy-influenced orders out of 67 total orders).
Date Filter
This filter allows you to analyze performance for specific date periods.

Available Preset Options:
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- Last 15 Days
- Last 30 Days
- Lifetime
Custom Date Range:
- You can select a custom date range.
- Custom selection is limited to a maximum of 31 days.
Use Cases:
- Compare short-term campaign spikes (Today vs Last 7 Days)
- Analyze monthly performance (Last 30 Days)
- Evaluate long-term growth (Lifetime)
- Measure impact after launching a new offer
All date filters in the Analytics section provide the same set of options. However, each filter functions independently and applies only to the specific section it is associated with.
Offer Type Filter
This filter allows you to analyze performance by specific offer types.

Available Offer Types:
- All
- Table Widget
- Quantity Selector
- Free Shipping Bar
- Free Gift with Purchase
- Tiered Cart Discount
- Product Recommendation
- Fixed Price Mix & Match Bundle
- Dynamic Price Mix & Match Bundle
- BOGO

How to Use This Filter
Select a specific offer type to:
- Identify which promotion type drives the most conversions.
- Compare performance between bundle-based and discount-based campaigns.
- Measure effectiveness of upsell tools (e.g., Product Recommendation).
- Analyze shipping incentives vs percentage-based discounts.
Selecting All will display combined performance across all offer types.
How Filters Work Together
Both filters can be applied simultaneously.
Example:
- Date Filter: Last 7 Days
- Offer Type: BOGO
This will display performance metrics for BOGO offers during the last 7 days only. This allows highly targeted performance analysis.
Store AOV (Average Order Value)
This section provides a graphical representation of your store’s actual Average Order Value over time using a date filter. Average Order Value (AOV) measures the average amount customers spend per order.
This metric reflects the average value of all completed store orders during the selected date period including:
- Dealeasy-influenced orders
- Non-app (organic) orders
- Discounted orders
- Non-discounted orders
Formula:
AOV = Total Store Revenue ÷ Total Number of Orders
Example: If your store generated $50,000 from 500 orders: AOV = $50,000 ÷ 500 = $100
This is a store-wide metric, not limited to orders generated by the app.

Primary AOV Value
The large number displayed at the top (Marked “1” in the above image) represents the overall Average Order Value for the selected date range.
Example: $11,263.71 → Average order value during the selected period.
Trend Graph
The line/area graph (Marked “2” in the above image) shows how AOV fluctuates over date within the selected period.
- X-axis: Date range
- Y-axis: Average order value amount
- Peaks: Higher spending per order
- Dips: Lower spending per order
This helps you identify:
- High-value sales days
- Campaign impact on cart size
- Seasonal buying behavior
- Effects of bundles and upsells
Active Offers
The Active Offers section displays the number of offers currently in “Active” status in the app, categorized by offer type.

This section provides a quick operational snapshot of:
- How many offers are currently live
- Which promotional mechanisms are being used
- The distribution of your discount and upsell strategies
This is not a performance metric as it reflects only the configuration status.
Offer Category Performance
This section provides a visual breakdown of how different offer types contribute to total usage within the selected date range (e.g., Last 30 days). It helps you quickly identify which promotional strategies are being used most frequently by customers.

What This Chart Shows
- A donut chart displaying the percentage distribution of each offer category’s performance.
- Each segment represents an offer type (e.g., Volume Discount – Table, Mix & Match Bundle, Cart Goals, BXGY, etc.).
- The percentage shown reflects the share of total offer usage during the selected period.
Hover Details (Interactive Tooltip)

When you hover over any segment of the donut chart, a tooltip will display:
- Offer category name
- Number of times used
- Exact percentage of total usage
This provides more granular insight beyond the percentage label shown on the chart.
To maintain clarity and readability, offer categories contributing less than 5% will appear on the chart, but will not have an elbow mark determining the percentage. However, you can hover over that segment to view its percentage contribution.
Top Performing Offers
This section highlights the best-performing offers within the selected date range.

Only the top 5 offers are displayed, allowing you to quickly identify which promotions are driving the strongest results.
What This Section Shows
This widget ranks and displays:
- Offer title
- Offer type
- Usage
- Converted orders
The ranking is dynamic and updates according to the selected performance filter.
Available Filters
Along with date filter, this section also includes two performance filters, which can be combined with the date filter.

When Offer usage count is selected:
- Offers are ranked based on how many dates they were used.
- The top 5 most frequently used offers will be displayed.
- This helps identify which offers customers interact with most often.
When Converted orders is selected:
- Offers are ranked based on the number of successful orders generated through the offer.
- The top 5 offers that contributed to the highest number of converted orders will be displayed.
- This focuses on actual revenue-driving performance rather than just usage.
Top Performing Products
This ection highlights the 5 products that generated the highest number of orders within the selected date range. It helps you identify which products are driving the most completed purchases through your app.

What This Section Shows
This widget displays:
- Product name
- Number of orders generated
Products are ranked strictly based on the total number of orders within the selected date range. Only the top 5 products are shown at any date.
Top Performing Gifts
This section highlights the 5 gift products that were selected or added to orders most frequently within the selected date range. It helps you understand which free gifts or promotional gift items are most effective in driving customer engagement and conversions.

What This Section Shows
This widget displays:
- Gift product name
- Offer type (Cart goals – Free gift with purchase or BXGY - Gift with product)
- Number of orders in which the gift was included
Gifts are ranked based on the total number of orders where the gift was successfully added through an offer. Only the top 5 performing gifts are shown.
Individual Insights

For each offer, we have individual metric insights along with date filter that you can use to analyse its performance. The Volume discount (Table), Volume discount (Quantity selector), Gift with product, and BOGO will contain the following details under these insights specific to the respective offer.
- Offer usage count
- Converted orders
- Conversion value
- Discount value
- Top performing products

The Cart goal discounts, i.e., Free Gift with Purchase, Tiered Cart Discount, and Free Shipping Bar, will have the following details under their insights.
- Offer usage count
- Converted orders
- Discount value
Tracking conversion value for Cart goal discounts by including total order values where a cart goal discount is applied would result in overlapping calculations and artificially inflate the reported conversion value. So conversion value will not be available here.

The Mix & match bundle (fixed and dynamic) and Product recommendations will have the following details under their insights.
- Offer usage count
- Converted orders
- Conversion value
As these offers don’t have any discount functionality, the Discount value option is not needed for these.
