If you have a Featured Product section on your Home page, you can display Dealeasy widgets there as well. If you are using a Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme, follow the steps below:
- In the Featured Product section, click Add block. Under Apps, select the widget block that corresponds to the offer you created in the Dealeasy app. (For example, select Table widget.)
- After adding the block, you will need to enter the product ID and product URL/handle for that specific product.
- Go to Products in your Shopify admin and open the product.
- In the browser URL of the that page, the final set of numbers represents the product ID.
- Scroll down on the same page to Search engine listing to find the product URL/handle.
- Copy and paste the product ID and product URL/handle into the fields provided in the widget block settings.
- Once completed, the Dealeasy widget will appear on your Home page.
Note: For the Cart Progress Bar widget, the product ID and product URL/handle are not required. Simply adding its widget block to your theme is sufficient for it to display on the Home page.
If your theme is not a Shopify 2.0 theme, you won’t be able to position the widget through the app block. In that case, you’ll need to position it manually using a CSS selector. Please contact our customer support for free setup assistance.
